The 24hr Nürburgring race
Victory! After 134 gruelling laps, the AMG-Team Black Falcon with drivers Bernd Schneider, Maro Engel, Adam Christodoulou and Manuel Metzger convincingly won the 44th 24-hour endurance race on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
Congratulations! The Mercedes-AMG GT3 that took the top spot on the podium on BBS Motorsport forged racing rims also achieved the fastest lap of 8:19.002 min.
The teams that finished 2nd to 6th in the top ten also placed their trust in BBS Motorsport wheels. The second placed AMG-Team of HTP-Motorsport with drivers Christian Vietoris, Marco Seefried, Christian Hohenadel and Renger Van der Zande also used BBS ultra-light high-performance wheels to secure the “Silver Medal” in this race.
Third place went to Team Haribo Racing whose drivers Uwe Alzen, Lance David Arnold, Maximilian Götz and Jan Seyffarth took the chequered flag after 133 laps. They were closely followed by the second AMG-Team Black Falcon car, with Hubert Haupt, Yelmer Buurman, Maro Engel and Dirk Müller, who were placed fourth.
The fastest BMW in the race was the M6 GT3 of Rowe Racing, piloted by Alexander Sims, Philipp Eng, Maxime Martin and Dirk Werner, whose super performance brought them a fifth place finish. Close behind in sixth was Kenneth Heyer, Sebastian Asch, Luca Ludwig and Daniel Keilwitz.
It is no coincidence that the fastest six cars in this 24-hour race were on BBS Motorsport wheels. This premium wheel manufacturer has a very long motorsport tradition, and the most successful racing teams clearly continue to benefit from their experience.
