NOW SOLD Series II 1970 It was restored with no expense spared from the ground up around 10 years ago and has only completed 800 miles since. It has been painted inside and out before having a bespoke black leather trim and mohair hood fitted. Included in the boot are tonneu and hood covers. The engine was fully rebuilt along with all the suspensions, again with no expense spared, along with the carburettors and all the other engine bay ancillaries. It has recently been professionally tuned to peak performance. All bearings and bushes were replaced at the time of restoration and, as mentioned earlier, have been checked every year since. It has recently undergone a large repair at the front due to damage which included the fitting of a brand new Jaguar bonnet, all new front frames and a new radiator. The car was then fully resprayed in base and clear to the highest standards. At the same time brand new chrome wire wheels and tyres were fitted along with new front shock absorbers and new larger brakes on the front. It has been serviced every year at MOT time regardless of necessity. The full restoration took in excess of 18 months to complete costing well over the asking price and was finished to the highest standards by Merlin Classics Ltd. There is a full photographic record of the restoration included as well as bills and service history since. The car drives beautifully and is an absolutely stunning vehicle that must be seen to be fully appreciated. We are selling on behalf of a customer so all deposits and payments will be made directly to them. Payment via bank transfer preferred. Funds must be fully cleared before release of the vehicle.
