Collard Motorsport is a combination of three generations of racing heritage. The team is founded by British driver Rob Collard a regular competitor and race-winner in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. Rob has made quite an impact on touring car racing in the last few years. He has broadened his experience by successfully racing a BMW, Porsche 911, SEAT Leon, MG ZS, SEAT Toledo Cupra, Vauxhall Astra, Nissan Primera and a Renault Clio RS. Rob combines his role as Managing Director of R Collard Ltd; the family haulage operation based in Hampshire alongside his successful racing career. Speed is very much part of the Collard family. Sons Ricky and Jordan have shown that they are a force to be reckoned with and are busy carving out a career for themselves. Ricky competed in the MSA Formula Championship in 2015 and in 2016 will be contesting the BRDC Formula 4 Championship with Carlin Motorsport, whilst Jordan has moved up from karts and will be racing in the Simpson Race Products Ginetta Junior Championship with the TCR Race Team. Rob’s father Mick “Duffy” Collard was the inspiration behind it all. He was a professional racer and raced against people like Derek Warwick and Martin Brundle. He was the British Hot Rod Champion in 1979 and the following year in 1980, he secured the Hot Rod World Championship.
