Photostox was formed in 1975 in order to make the Brisca F1 stock car photos that I was taking available to fans. Whilst I have scaled back my visits to tracks in more recent times, I am still adding in the order of 5,000 images to the stock car photo archive each year. This now stands at well over 250,000 images. The acquisition of the Derek Hibbs, George Marks and Jeff Postlethwaite collections have given me additional extensive colour coverage of the 1960s through to the 1980s, making the Photostox Brisca F1 Stock Car archive, arguably, the largest in the world. I have had stock car photos published in numerous UK magazines along with race car magazines in the United States of America, The Netherlands and New Zealand. Since 1992 I have also photographed NASCAR and Sprint Car Racing on a regular basis. Whilst a rudimentary cataloguing system is in place the creation of a more thorough and robust system is ongoing.
